Dear God what are we doing ?

Today i was just about to do a wee film about highland abstractions when all thoughts of this disappeared from my mind.

A story on radio four caught my attention click here to listen to it .

Basically it was about Drones in the battle field

among the guests was P.W. Singer talking about his book Wired for War.

this film on you tube will give you an idea of what is here now and what we all face in the future visit it here 

so on the day that

Obama kills moon program, endorses commercial space

stating it is to costly to travel to the moon and beyond in the same breathe he endorses BILLIONS of US dollars to the drone programme !!

so in one hand he destroys our dreams and leaves us only with more and more slaughter across our wonderful planet .

one figure from the radio programme was that Obama has signed off on more drone attacks in three months than Bush did in three years.

 

you are not wrong there but stuff this change i say.

A few months back i wrote a small piece on my blog 2050 about this very subject little realising how far along the road we have already come .

Since i heard Robert Oppenheimer state “Now i am become death,the destroyer of worlds” a line from Hindu scripture

i have always thought NO my friend we are going to go so far down the road of death and slaughter you have no idea..

as we head ,headlong into the 21st century fears as a small kid growing up in Scotland seem to be coming true faster and faster .

 

the films i have watched over the years like Terminator  with the tagline

“In the Year of Darkness, 2029, the rulers of this planet devised the ultimate plan. They would reshape the Future by changing the Past. The plan required something that felt no pity. No pain. No fear. Something unstoppable. They created 'THE TERMINATOR'

 

Visionary directors and writers have always warned us all of the path we are on

I believe that our dreams can so quickly turn into nightmare’s ,what we dream for the future we have the ability to make happen ..

So as men and women sit in their we rooms at Creech ,Nevada gazing at their screens of death and guide these drones to their targets for the day , i say not in my bloody name..

 

and with these things launching from bases here in the Uk ,who although we are in so much bloody debt here in the UK still manage to buy these god awful things i guess like the play ground we are still trying to keep up with the big boys

 

Another part of this disturbing programme was when an elder from a town in Pakistan that has had several of these drones attack his town on one instance  killing a mother and child ..

now the whole town lives in complete dread as these things approach guided by someone 7ooo miles away .

When questioned about mistakes that could be possible in launching attacks

the guy said that they were trained to an extremely high standard and that they could tell the difference between people going about there everyday business and those who were not .

he could tell if someone was acting strange by their movements

god help us all if he spots some kids playing hide and seek ,from afar this would look more then dodgy..

To me the fact that they are so far removed from the battlefield is what scares me so much

no sense of pain fear or the smell off death as someone’s head explodes with brains being dispelled over the ground

no not in today’s warfare the risk adverse generation with their whiter than white and highly pressed uniforms ..

one of the guys explained when asked how he copes with what he is doing said

“ i have a drive of 45mins to switch over to family mode “

GOD help us all ..

This whole video warfare has to stop or at least have some effects on the guys pushing the buttons

I reckon as he launches the attack a small parcel by the side of the screen should explode on contact

showering him in guts brains puke and shit and a smell device should fire into his nose the smell of death and decay .

maybe only then will these so called WARRIORS be brought down to the reality of what they are doing..

it is only a small leapt before these things are turned on us failled to pay your tax

Wee Hamish is 10 today (Death Of The Oil/Power Companies)

Hamish heard his granddad call him ,so grabbed his jacket and leapt down the stairs he loved days out with Tam.

 

Come on lad ,lets get going ,we have a good 2 hours before we reach the transport museum.

Sitting there Hamish was so happy ,he had wanted to visit the museum to see all the old cars etc and listen to his granddad tell him about when he was younger.. for so long

 

Toady was special for so many reasons he was 10 “nearly a man” his dad would say ..

Eventually they pulled up to some huge gates and a portly man leant into the car smiled, and handed a small brochure with tickets etc To Tam then stood back .

then the gates slowly began to open .

Tam watched and smiled as Hamish’s eyes nearly fell out.his mouth dropped as if in mid question and frozen it seemed for ever ,

 

In front of him he could see a huge ship and some massive buildings so much to take in and he could feel the questions bubbling up and turned to Tam

Ok lad ?. aye granddad this is amazing and with that he shot out the car and headed to the strange  building with some even stranger looking square things with long pipes hanging of the edge of them.

and the first of many questions

What what what is this place ?

Well,it’s ,what we used to call a garage forecourt ..

you had to pull into it next to those square things and with that he took Hamish over to the car sitting next to one and pulled the hose from its resting place and with a smile opened the flap and inserted it into the hole

What are you doing ?

this is how we used to fill up our cars .

what ?came the next question and face screwed up in total bemusement

well you pressed this and with that some liquid flowed out the pipe and began to fill the tank

with a click ,Tam explained that is it ,full ,

can we have a drive in the car ?

I.m not sure son

then he noticed a sticker

IT IS ILEGAL TO START THIS CAR WITHOUT FIRST OBTAINING A LICENCE

did you just drive off then?

 

Noooo, then we would go to that wee window and pay

What ???????

aye we used to have things called wallets

Wallets??? aye and in it you would carry your cash or card to pay

What ????

Tam looked inside the brochure and found some old fashioned money and with Hamish holding his hand went to the door and with a swoosh they entered and headed to the woman sat behind a desk in the corner

As he handed the money over

What are you doing ????

Well after you filled up as i said you then came here to pay for the fuel ,ahh granddad your just joking that’s silly !!!!

you mean you used to work to get money then hand it over the counter ???

Aye son

 

wow,you had it rough didn’t you granddad

aye !!!!!!!

Tam asked the lady if they could take the car for a drive and with a face like a slapped arse she grunted “NO”

Hamish looked at her and with a visible change she said

sorry no one has been allowed to start up a petrol car for over 10 years but if you are quick i will let you start it but only for a couple of moments

THANKS MISSES

Tam was pulled out the door towards the car and with the words

 

hurry granddad ,he looked for the key and turned it

with that the engine roared into life Hamish jumped back completely startled

its ok son

then Hamish gathered himself and went to the rear of the car what’s that he asked ?

puzzled at first then he knew what the boy was pointing to

ahh that is the exhaust pipe

phheeeew it stinks !!!!!! granddad

The woman in the garage started to bang on the window and Tam could see she was scared

So with a smile and a wave he quickly switched the engine off..

Wow Wow

 

and with the attention span of all children worldwide they were now heading over to two huge steel erections standing alone reaching high into the sky

what, what ,how ,why ,is that ,woooow

eventually Hamish asked what are they granddad ?

Looking up at the old Pylons started to try and explain what they were

 

He noticed a small board with some pictures attached and explained to Hamish

 

These are what we used to call Pylons they were all over the countryside and in towns ,there were millions of them and they were used to carry electricity around the country to homes and business’s

see those huge cables stretched across them

Tam looked up and said aye granddad

Tam then saw Hamish look at a single picture and with a familiar face of disgust  and with the straight forward talk off a child

 

he said wow they were so ugly

 

you all had it rough granddad,, they were so awful stretching out and destroying the views ….

crazy crazy granddad !!!!

 

Aye son it certainly was crazy

and again Tam noticed a huge Ship and off they went

 

The ship stretched out in front off them 1/4 mile and longer

Tam guessed the next question and started to explain that these huge ships and there were thousands of them plying the ocean they were used to carry crude oil

and yes they were dangerous and many times they ran aground and destroyed the ocean and the beach and killed millions of birds and wildlife of all kinds

Hamish pointed to some building to the right

they are what we used to call an oil refinery with fake smoke coming out the many chimney’s

He looked at Tam

 

The boy was just standing there in shock

 

are you ok lad

 

no granddad can we go please

this is horrible

thankfully Humans had stopped and some years ago had started to look around and realise the complete madness of the oil and power companies ,

“energy is all around us and is infinite throughout the universe “

the sheer disregard to the planet and more

Now Hamish and his kids would grow up on a world much cleaner

No more Pylons

No more huge oil tankers

No more oil refinery’s

No more garages

No wind farms

The planet now had changed beyond all recognition

 

A small project called self power generation had started in Scotland and spread across the world

 

the idea was simple

that each and every building ,lamppost’s etc etc generated its own power from wind solar and much much more

simple clean and freed us all from the grid and endless power bills which the companies imposed on us all ..

Low energy bulbs not as bright ?????

 

 

Are we being ripped off once again by big business ?

why do we have to have bulbs with mercury in them however small the amount?

energy saving bubs are dim in so many ways ,why is it that when i get in my car and switch on my headlights

2 little bulbs can show me the road ?

the headlight bulbs are 12v and about 4 watt  strange eh?

we all must stop believing these huge companies and take control ourselves ..

not only is it complete madness to switch to a huge production off these useless bulbs it is also damaging to the earth.

in mercury

a small amount soon mounts up when billions of bulbs are made :

we have to switch from outdated thinking and begin to look to the future in cleaner and clearer way

Switch of the Mains

                    Switch The Mains Off the only way to make an immediate impact

                                

                         Self powered homes and buildings the way of the future

                   so this week turn off the mains if not in the whole house then at least

                one room and with solar etc generate light and power the tv etc for free

                                              …………………………………………………….

The major problem facing us all at the moment is out total reliance on power supplied by huge energy companies we have been lead down a deadly dead end by their complete greed and disrespect of mother earth and all her beauty.

There is an abundance of power all around us from the sun to the wind ,the universe is pure energy.

in fact all of us are energy all living souls create power .it is only when we open our eyes and minds will we be free from the abusers the huge oil/power companies……..

For example A simple thing that came to me was the amount of energy created at say a school or a shopping arcade by that mass off people moving through it and how is the shop and school powered ,yes via the mains madness….complete madness

Why not simply install flooring that as you walk on it generates electricity and sends it to a power bank batteries etc (this technology is already here ) and thus by the fact of all those people moving about they will in fact generate the power to light up the very building they are using another public building off the grid

A public swimming bath could simple have small wave generators that send power to the power bank of the pool complex thus ,while everyone is enjoying the day they are in fact taking another building of the grid .so with added solar panels on their roofs and wind turbines not the huge great things we now see jumping up all over wrecking the countryside, but turbines that are blended into the building invisible generation 

swim ,shop and walk to save the world ?

We all must come together and switch the mains of,tear down those ugly pylons and say no to the grid and the power companies

We must all start to take control off ,and responsibility for our own power generation via solar wind and the multitude of new technology at our finger tips if we only look beyond those companies and there eternal race for ever more profit.they show us endless tv ads telling US that they are changing nonsense

They still have the same mental block they think that the only way to supply energy is via some enormous grid with all the pylons endless cables and all the transport to keep the grid going .

My belief is that in the future every house and public building will be self sustaining thus doing away with all that cabling

imagine a world without those god awful pylons ,no more tankers  travelling our oceans with millions of gallons of crude oil (ticking bombs) that have on many occasions gone off with huge consequences to the environment both animal and planet the true victims  in those massive companies endless greed.

No more oil and gas refinery’s

And not to forget one off the main advantages to us all

NO more bills aye imagine never having to work to get money to pay some company to supply you with over priced energy …..

and what a gift to give our children a world cleaner and the countryside rid off all those eye sores our children will we free to explore more of this wonderful life free from the burden of bills

so take control

Turn your home into its very own power system buy solar, wind and above all be creative and we will leave behind a wonderful clean home called EARTH..

another benefit NO MORE WARS OVER OIL.

No country will ever be able to hold another country to ransom

look around us at nature she is telling us all the way ahead ….

as one electric company in my country says “the future is bright” and it will be even brighter without you greedy sods..

we must start to think different and not rely on the state or worse some company

Flying Bobbies/if you have done nothing wrong don’t worry?

Sitting by the window the man couldn’t help but wonder how things had changed almost beyond all belief.and over such a small amount of time…

He had as always been busy during the night getting the day drones ready for that day’s operation..

He had been a helicopter pilot many years ago but the rapid increase in technology had made that way of life redundant both from a monetary and time point of view ..

Now his job was to oversee the drones checking they were air worthy ,ie cameras and guns all ok..

Looking back from the window he settled into his chair along side his 30 fellow officers and looked up at the huge bank of screens

“LAUNCH”

and with that 1500+ drones headed out from the Police headquarters

and into the early morning sun..

From the room they could direct the drones (flying bobbies) to any part of the county

If someone had not paid their parking ticket it was now so simple to punch in their details and the drone would hunt them down via their phone signal or if they were at the local tesco’s buying shopping a signal would be send directly to the drone which would zoom in on them ..

and with people around watching the drone would hover in front and instruct them to procede to the nearest payment station..

once it had dealt with that i could be sent to the motorway to follow people going over the limit and track them to their home issuing a fine ..

In the old days one helicopter could cover a huge range but looking back now that was so stone age ..

BUT as we have always been told if you have done nothing wrong then you have nothing to fear … BULLSHIT the hermit say’s..
